Broccoli Beef

Our kids LOVE broccoli. Seriously, they can't get enough. This dinner is a big hit at our house...AND its super easy. Winning!
Ingredients:
2 T cornstarch
2 T water
1 clove garlic, minced (or 1/2 t garlic powder)
1 lb flank or sirloin steak (cut in strips thinly across the grain)
2 T olive oil
2 head broccoli (remove florets from the stalk)
1 small onion (cut in strips)
1/3 C soy sauce
2 T brown sugar
1 inch minced garlic (or 1 t ground ginger or 2 drops doTerra ginger oil)
1 T cornstarch
Directions:
Heat 1 T oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat
Mix cornstarch, water, and garlic in a small bowl. Add steak and coat steak
Add steak to pan and cook until done (3-4 minutes)
Remove steak and set aside
Add remaining oil, broccoli and onion. Stir fry for 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are the desired tenderness
Add beef back to the pan
Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and 1 T corn starch. Mix until smooth. Add the soy sauce mixture to the pan and cook 2 more minutes or until thickened
Serve over a bed of rice and enjoy.
