Asian Pork Roast

Is there anything better than having a delicious meal ready when you get home from work? Its one of the things we do in our busy house to keep it together. Slow cookers=happiness. And look at the beautiful crust on that thing!

Directions
Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper
Grease a large skillet and place over med high heat. Add pork roast and cook, turning occasionally about 6 minutes.
Place browned roast in a 5-6 qt slow cooker.
Add onions to the skillet and cook about 3 minutes until lightly browned.
Add preserves, soy sauce, mustard, gier and garlic to the pan. Bring to a simmer.
Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours (or high 4-5 hours).
Transfer pork to a cutting board and cover with foil
Cut the pork in half lengthwise then in slices.
