Fettuccine Alfredo

I LOVE this dish. Its so rich and comforting. It was also one of the first things Uncle G made when we started dating. Its also easy to dress up with extra vegetables and meats. Sometimes we will throw in a few shrimp sautéed in butter and garlic. There really aren't words to adequately describe how good it is. 






4 servings

  •  ½ C sweet cream butter (1 stick)
  •  2 garlic cloves, minced
  •  2 C heavy Whipping Cream
  •  ¼ t white pepper
  •  ½ C grated parmesan cheese
  •  ¾ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 box fettuccine

  • Fresh parsley, chopped













  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions.

  2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low/low heat.

  3. Add the garlic, cream, and white pepper. Simmer while stirring often (about 2 minutes).

  4. Add parmesan cheese and simmer 8-10 minutes until thick and smooth.

  5. When sauce is thick and smooth, add mozzarella and stir frequently until smooth again.

  6. Add parsley and our over fettuccini. Serve immediately.
