We make a lot of tacos in our house. I mean A LOT! If we aren't making tacos, we are making some variation. Taco Soup. Nachos. Taco-tot casserole. Making a big batch of seasoning is super easy and versatile.
1/2 C + 2 T Chili Powder
2 1/2 t. Granulated Garlic
2 1/2 t. Onion Powder
2 1/2 t. Red Pepper Flakes
5 t. Paprika
1/4 C + 1T Cumin
1 1/2 T Salt
1 T Pepper
MIx everything together and store in an airtight container. We write the recipe right on the container so its always handy.
To make taco meat:
Brown 1 lb of beef, drain the fat
Add 2-3 T seasoning to 1/2 C water
Return to heat for approximately 10 minutes, or until the water cooks down.
