The box came on time and was packed full of ice blocks. Everything was cold and fresh. The meat had mostly thawed. For us that was incentive to use the recipes right away to not waste anything.
The recipes were not difficult to follow, but I could see where they might be confusing for some. My husband would have had several questions. For instance, the Lemongrass Pork in Broth recipe called for "crisping the ground pork." Now I am sure my husband could figure that out, it wouldn't be until after he burned the pork, and the pan, and threw the smoke alarm out the window.
As far as the ingredients, they were fresh and high quality, but I didn't reallly understand why some things were individually packaged while others weren't. All the recipes were okay, but none of them were anything to call home about. We made notes for each one and will probably try them again.
