Chicken Nuggets

Sometimes you just don't want to be an adult and you need some good old kid friendly food. Fortunately you can make your own chicken nuggets. The best part about these is that kids love them as much as the adults. 

 

No matter how old you are, these are a-ma-zing)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2 cups bread crumbs (you can use white, whole wheat, Italian, etc)

¾ teaspoon salt

¾ teaspoon paprika

¾ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon pepper

1 egg

2 pounds boneless, skinless, chicken tenders (or you can get breasts and cut into pieces)

 

Heat oven to 375. Line a baking sheet with foil and oil it.

Mix bread crumbs and seasoning in a large Ziploc. Beat the egg in a bowl. Dip the chicken in the egg then put it in the Ziploc and shake it up, shake it up, up, up. Lay the chicken on the baking sheet and put it in the oven and bake 15-18 minutes until browned and cooked all the way through.

 

You can freeze these when they are cool and warm up in the microwave.
